Tired of playing level 01 on the servers?  Want something similar, but
different?  Well, you've come to the right place!  Maximum Carnage was
designed to be a replacement for level 01, but yet be different enough
to provide the players with a new deathmatching challenge.

That's not to say that it's only built for deathmatch.  Single and Coop
starts are certainly installed, and while the level is fairly easy, it's
supposed to be, as it's replacing level 01.

* Play Information *

Episode and Level #     : Doom ][, Level 01
Single Player           : Certainly.
Cooperative 2-4 Player  : But of course.
Deathmatch 2-4 Player   : Pfft!
Difficulty Settings     : I didn't go nuts with 'em, but they're in
                          there.  The level is pretty easy on all but
                          nightmare, and even that's not so bad.
New Sounds              : No
New Graphics            : No
New Music               : No
Demos Replaced          : None

* Construction *

Base                    : New level from scratch.
Editor(s) used          : Mostly DEU, but Edmap on occasion.  Took me
                          about 4-5 hours to complete.
Known Bugs              : Slight HOM in the round staircase room.  It's
                          minor, and doesn't affect gameplay.

* Copyright / Permissions *

Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional
levels.  I don't mind if you use something from my level to form a new
and interesting thing for your own level, but please don't rip anything
from it directly.

You MAY distribute this WAD, provided you include this file, with
no modifications.
