The newest updates to the site add support information for all known event handlers
(56 of them in all.) and support information for the Opera web browser. Public betas
are out for Opera's newest release (v.3.5), but have not yet been reviewed (version
3.5 includes support for CSS and Java.)
The site now uses Cascading Style Sheets. If you are using a browser that does not
support CSS, the change will be obvious, but the CSS version attempts to look
as closely as possible like it used to. I made this
change for my convenience and to help make the site more accessible for
others. If you are using the downloaded version of this site, you can
change the CSS files to alter the appearance
of the site to your needs.
I have also taken the time to re-design many of the top level interfaces
to the site in order to ease usability (a chronological
list of
changes is available.) Hopefully the site will be much
simpler to use now. As always, I welcome ANYfeedback on this issue.
Short-Term To-Do List
There are a couple areas of the site where I want to add more detail, but
have not yet had the time. I will now be tackling these issues:
Improve the CSS portion of the site
I am in the process of totally re-designing the CSS properties pages, and
tackling CSS2 as well. This will add about 100 new pages to the site and
will take some time to complete.
Add more browser support information
Internet Explorer 5.0 and Opera 3.5 are both currently in beta and I am tracking
support information for them.
Long-Term Wish List
I still have some things in mind that I would like to do with the site,
but have not yet had time to do (like survey other browsers.) I will be
tackling these issues when I get the time. Please feel free to
e-mail me with ideas, topics or
critiques to improve the site.
